Back in January of 2023, MVD Entertainment Group announced they were releasing the first two GHOULIES films to blu-ray along with the first film getting a 4K blu-ray release. Many were wondering why part wasn't getting a 4K release with MVD saying they were trying to get the rights holder to do a 4K scan and restoration. They set aside the #3 in the collection (their releases are numbered) so they can include GHOULIES 2 so they can add it in once the scan is done.
We finally have a release date and a list of the special features. Thankfully, we are getting both versions of the film along with an introduction and interview with the film's screenwriter and a making of. This release will hit retailers on July 7th, 2024. Details below:
