If ever there was an underdog story within the horror/slasher genre, Terrifier 2 would be that film. Made on a budget of $250,000, it made $10 million. We need more films like this to show Hollywood that they don't need to spend all the money only to make a little of it back.

Fans have waited for almost 15 years, since the last DVD release, for H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds to come to blu-ray and Criterion has answered that call. Featuring a brand new restoration and some really great special features, Criterion's release is the one to beat.
